S.O.S. FEST meeting
Tuesday, June 26 at 6pm The S.O.S. FEST will host an organizational and informational meeting in the sanctuary of Gods Vision Church located on the corner of NYS Rt 3 and West St in Hannibal.
All area service organizations, sports teams, school clubs, boosters organizations, churches, youth groups, scout troops, etc…. are invited to attend. Booth space is available for display, sales, merchandise, food, etc.
Also, all Food Vendors, join our growing food court. Crafters, get in on the Craft Village while you can! Artists, have a display in our Art Center, anyone else, join the “Junk in The Trunk” sale area.
The S.O.S. FEST is sponsored by the Cabin 3 Youth group of God’s Vision Church. 100% of our profits will go to local youth programs. We are holding this festival to help all area programs through this rough time by providing 3 days of amazing entertainment and the opportunity to raise awareness of causes and raise money to support those causes.
The S.O.S. FEST is a 3 day music festival that will have over a dozen bands play from all over the USA and Canada.
Friday will begin with “The Sent Forth” from CNY followed by “NEWWORLDSON” from Canada. Their latest hit has been in the top 10 on the Billboard Charts for over 20 weeks. Newworldson has played all over the world. Tickets for Friday are only $10 at www.itickets.com.
Saturday music starts at 11am and goes until about 10pm with the bands “Everyday Sunday” from Ohio, Grant Woell from Michigan, “The Vintage Truth Band” and Wes Aarum from Buffalo, Silversyde from Glens Falls, The 7 Thunders from Long Island, Against the Slate from PA, “The Goodfight” from Mexico and “Indians in the Cupboard” from Syracuse. Sunday, a totally FREE day, will feature several local bands and speakers such as Jay Trainer, Robert Welch and The Sent Forth.
The goal of the S.O.S. FEST is to reach the people in this area and to give all local organizations a platform upon which to raise awareness and money for their own causes.
