I have enjoyed our mild winter. As in recent years, I employed the services of an individual to keep my driveway cleared of snow.
I am very fortunate to know this person, as he also kept my sidewalk and steps cleared and when necessary, also put down salt and sand.
I am very saddened to hear there were a handful of individuals who refused to make a final payment for snow-removal services. I am assuming that the reasoning, if it can be called that, is that no snow clearing ended up being necessary during the last half of winter.
