Shelley Horning, local waitress

Shelley Devendorf Horning, 56, of Fulton, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at University Hospital, Syracuse.

Born in Fulton, she was a life resident. She was a known and well liked waitress at several local restaurants. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and loved all animals. She had also volunteered for the local Salvation Army.

She was predeceased by her mother, Helen Devendorf, and her husband, Roger Horning.

She is survived by her father, Ed (Grace Gault) Devendorf of Granby; siblings, Lance Devendorf of Fulton, Patti (David) Kuhl of Oswego, Greg (Kelly) Devendorf of Copenhagen and Patrick (Becky) Devendorf of Fulton; two nieces; a nephew; and a grand-niece.

Calling hours were held Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  Contributions may be made to PAWS Across Oswego Co., 2035 Co. Rte. 1, Oswego, 13126.
