Roderick Marsh, Purple Heart recipient

Roderick Marsh, 87, of Fulton, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at University Hospital in Syracuse.

Born in Watertown to the late Fredrick E. and Margaret D. Marsh he was a longtime resident of the Fulton area. He retired from NY Central Railroad where he was a brakeman and conductor.

An Army veteran serving in World War II, he was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, Belgium and had received the Purple Heart for his injuries.
