The annual Holiday Express Model Railroad Show, presented by the Oswego Valley Railroad Association, will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the Fulton War Memorial on West Broadway.
Members of the association will have model railroad layouts depicting the era of steam to diesel. There will be scenes of factories, bridges, roads, and the Erie Canal exhibiting the livelihood of Oswego County.
The club promotes model railroading as a hobby as well as a fellowship. The club now has a permanent site at the Railroad Museum, which is located at 56 W. First St., Oswego.
There will be a Lego layout as well as the Polar Express. HO, O, and N gauge will be running along with a layout just for girls.
There will also be S gauge, T-rail, Lionel, and Thomas the Engine for children. There will also be a fire engine display. The snack bar will be open and the National Railroad Historical Society has a booth selling memorabilia.
