Natalie J. Sixberry, 82, of Volney, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Hancock, N.Y.
Born in Mexico, Maine, she was a 50-year resident of Volney. She retired from General Electric Company in Liverpool after 39 years. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Grover H. Sixberry Sr., who died in 1997; a daughter, Lila Weiland; a son, Steven J. Sixberry, Sr. who died in 2011; a granddaughter, Wendy Steingraber who died in 2002; a great-grandson, Eric Lacharite who died in 1994; brothers, James, Jr., Alfred, Robert Myers; and a sister, Stella Henopp.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Brian) Kitney, John (Bonnie), Grover, Jr. and David (Audra) Sixberry; siblings, Bruce, William and John Myers, Betty Jean Reynolds; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial was in North Volney Cemetery. Calling hours were held Sunday at the funeral home.
