Nancy Gritzer Haney died peacefully Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 72 with loved ones by her side.
She was born April 22, 1940 in Johnstown, Pa., a daughter to the late Michael and Anna Krizansky Gritzer. After graduation from high school, she married Thomas P. Haney and they lived in New Jersey where she worked as an executive secretary and as a realtor before moving to Fulton.
While in Fulton, she worked for many years at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital as the Director of Volunteer Services.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Thomas P. Haney, and two sisters, Shirley Demyan and Evelyn Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Sean Patrick Haney; a brother-in-law, George Thomas; four sisters-in-law, Agnes Naugle, Virginia Witherow, Roberta Vasbinder and Rosemary Zimmerman as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Monday, July 2 at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
