Myrlene Livingston, Fulton resident

Myrlene D. Powell Livingston, 87, of Fulton, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Oswego Hospital.

Born Feb. 17, 1925 in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (DeMass) Powell. She was raised in Belgium, N.Y. and graduated from Baldwinsville Academy in 1942. She had resided in Fulton since 1958.

She was a member of the First United Church of Fulton. She was an admissions clerk at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1983.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Livingston, who died Feb. 6, 1990; a son, Fred Michael Livingston, who died Aug. 31, 1992;  a daughter, Susan E. Haste, who died in Nov. 17, 2009; and by a brother, Robert Powell.

She is survived by a daughter, Sally Wilkins of Fulton; a son, Jack P. Livingston of Syracuse; a brother, George E. (Jean) Powell of Whiting, N.J.; five grandchildren, Sean Haste, Kelly Wallace, Shannon Burrell, Tara DePuy and Gregory Wilkins; two step-granddaughters, Michelle Rathbun and Lisa Wicker; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
