Michael F. Prime, 64, of Fulton, died Nov. 9, 2012.
A memorial celebration of life service with military honors will be held today, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2819 Co. Rte. 45, Fulton. with the Rev. David Grey officiating.
Attendees may wear uniforms, Yankee or SU attire.
Contributions may be made to Fulton Youth Baseball or Oswego County Hospice.
Michael F. (Primer) Prime, 64, of Fulton died November 9, 2012.
Mr. Prime retired from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department in 2003. He served during Vietnam abroad the USS New Jersey, retiring after 30 years of service from the Navy.
He loved sports and played basketball, golf, softball and bowled on numerous teams in Onondaga and Oswego Counties through the years. He was also an avid SU and Yankees fan.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Bonnie (Allen), daughter Denise (Ben) Johnson of Liverpool, son Michael S. of Fulton, grandson Zachary Hull of Liverpool, three sisters Marlene Walts of North Syracuse, Karen Campbell of Washington, Lisa Jones of Pittsfield, Mass., three nephews and one niece.
Mr. Prime donated his body to SUNY Upstate Hospital for research. Donations may be made to Oswego County Hospice.
Services will be held at the convience of the family. Harter Funeral Home is in chare of the arrangements.
