The Fair Haven Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual May Festival in the Village Park in downtown Fair Haven Saturday, May 19 beginning at 11 a.m.
The Village Park will be bustling with vendors, demonstrations and games celebrating spring’s arrival.
The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with a parade. Adults and kids should come dressed as fairies, woodland creatures, or gnomes and join the parade through the streets of Fair Haven. The parade line up is at 10:45 a.m.
Afterwards, there will be a family scavenger hunt through the village, a poker walk, food, free games and crafts for the kids, and music.
There will be a bike rodeo in front of the library at noon. The kids are invited to bring their bikes and helmets.
At 1 p.m., the local band “Hattie Lewis” will be playing at the Bandstand in the park.
