Loretta Munger, former bowling secretary

Loretta Munger, 89, of Fulton, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Oswego Hospital.

She was born in Fulton to the late Bronislaw and Antonina (Golec) Brzuchac.

Mrs. Munger has been a longtime resident of Fulton. She was a past communicant of St. Michael’s Church, Fulton. She was a past secretary of the Fulton Women Bowling league for many years.  She was also a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans.

Mrs. Munger was predeceased by her husband, Dominic Munger, who died in February of 2005, and her siblings, Sophia, Joseph, Raymond, Steven, Lillian, Geneva, and Janet.

She is survived by her children:  Joseph (Lisa) Munger of Fulton, David (Teresa) Munger of Fulton, Paul (Kathy) Munger of Fair Haven, and James (Marsha) Munger of Plattsburgh; her brother, Allan Brzuchac of Fulton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held    today at 11:30 a.m. at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Wirkes officiating. Burial will be held privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be conducted today from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
