Members of the Oswego County Teachers Association and the Oswego City School District have announced that the annual Stuff-A-Bus Campaign in underway.
Working in collaboration with United Way of Greater Oswego County, other area school districts, and more than 20 business and organizations, the annual Stuff-A-Bus Campaign collects donations of school supplies for distribution to less fortunate students throughout Oswego County.
Beginning in June, Stuff-A-Bus Chairperson Jo Ann Conzone organized a number of vents for OCTA and the OCSD to participate in such as jeans days and drawings for gift baskets.
“In order to raise awareness of the Stuff-A-Bus Campaign and to encourage donations of school supplies, Karen Canale and I hosted Stuff-A-Bus promotional days at Crisafulli Rink with the OZ Roller Girls,” said Conzone. “We distributed information about the campaign, the types of school supplies we are hoping to collect, and where the donations may be made. We also held a drawing for the gift baskets that we put together.”
