The Fulton boys varsity lacrosse team scored only one goal during the fourth quarter of its April 12th contest against Central Square. As it turned out, Fulton’s goal helped the Red Raiders to escape with a 5-4 win.
The game began much like it ended with Fulton keeping Central Square off the scoreboard.
At the end of the first quarter, Fulton had a 2-0 lead. Fulton took a 4-2 lead into halftime after both teams scored twice during the second quarter.
The Fulton varsity baseball team scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Mexico 10-9 at the Fulton Athletic Complex.
Fulton’s Brandon Guernsey delivered the big hit with a bases-loaded double to drive in three runs.
Raider Shane Beauregard scored the winning run. Nate Dean started the game for the Raiders.
The Fulton varsity boys lacrosse team opened it season last Thursday by hosting East Syracuse-Minoa at the Fulton Athletic Complex.
Raiders Bryan Benton and Ross Maxam scored four and three goals, respectively, in the 10-9 loss. Maxam also finished with two assists.
Tyler Lockwood and Joe Sutton also had goals.
The Raiders will host Westhill tomorrow, April 5 at 4:30 p.m. on the turf field.
