Raider boys lacrosse wins game against New Hartford

The Fulton boys varsity lacrosse team held on for a hard fought win against New Hartford Tuesday. Despite being outscored by a goal during the fourth quarter, Fulton prevailed with an 8-7 win over New Hartford.

Following the first quarter, Fulton had a slim one-goal lead over New Hartford at 3-2. Both teams scored a goal a piece during the second quarter, which allowed the Raiders to take a 4-3 lead into halftime.

Despite little offensive production during the third quarter, Fulton outscored New Hartford by a goal to extend its lead to 5-3.

Fulton laxmen defeat Corcoran 4-3

Defense took center stage when the Fulton Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team took on Corcoran Saturday.

In a game where both keepers combined to save 22 out of 29 shots on goal, Fulton held on for a hard fought 4-3 win over Corcoran.

The Raiders did half of their scoring during the first quarter alone. They led Corcoran by a goal going into the second quarter.

During the second quarter, Fulton added to its lead. Following another goal, Fulton had a two-goal lead over Corcoran at 3-1.

Corcoran outscored the Raiders by a goal during the third quarter. With Fulton leading 4-3 going into the fourth quarter, neither team was able to score, which allowed The Red Raiders to hang on for the 1 goal win.

J-D tops Fulton boys lacrosse team

Jamesville-DeWitt got off to a fast start and didn’t look back in its April 2 contest against the Fulton boys varsity lacrosse team on the turf at G. Ray Bodley High School.

Jamesville-DeWitt scored 10 out of its 14 first-half goals during the first quarter en route to a 21-4 win over Fulton.

By the end of the first quarter, Jamesville-DeWitt built a nine-goal lead over Fulton. During the second quarter, the Red Rams remained in the driver’s seat, outscoring Fulton by three goals to take a 14-2 lead into halftime.
