Fulton baseball loses to Bishop Ludden, Cortland

The Fulton varsity baseball team recently lost games against Bishop Ludden and Cortland.

Bishop Ludden scored three unanswered runs during the fifth and sixth innings to come away with the win April 9.

Cortland scored five unanswered runs during the first two innings of the game en route to the win April 16.

The Red Raiders got off to a good start when they took on Bishop Ludden. They jumped out to a 2-1 lead to begin the game.

The game remained evenly played after Bishop Ludden tied the game at 2-2 during the second inning.

Bishop Ludden pulled ahead to take a 5-4 lead during the bottom of third inning.

Fulton baseball team loses 15-1

The Fulton varsity baseball team struggled during its game against Syracuse West Friday.

The Raiders gave up nine unanswered runs as Syracuse West rolled to a 15-1 win.

Syracuse West scored six unanswered runs during the game’s first two innings. Fulton scored during the top of the third inning to cut the lead to 6-1.

Fulton baseball falls to Christian Brothers Academy

Christian Brothers Academy scored six runs against the Fulton baseball team during the second inning of the team’s game Monday afternoon.

CBA’s second inning offensive explosion essentially set the tone for its 19-8 win over Fulton.

Neither team was able to score until the second inning of play. CBA scored six runs to take a 6-0 lead. Fulton responded during the top of the third and fourth innings. The Raiders scored two runs to cut Christian Brothers Academy’s lead to 6-2.

Quick start leads Cortland past Fulton baseball 15-8

The Cortland baseball team scored all 15 of its runs during the game’s first four innings in its contest against Fulton Friday.

Fulton rallied at the end, but lost 15-8.

Cortland scored early and often, which essentially put the game out of reach before the start of the third inning. By the end of the fourth inning, Cortland had a 15-0 lead over Fulton.

Fulton baseball team rallies for 10-9 walk-off win

The Fulton varsity baseball team scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Mexico 10-9 at the Fulton Athletic Complex.

Fulton’s Brandon Guernsey delivered the big hit with a bases-loaded double to drive in three runs.

Raider Shane Beauregard scored the winning run.  Nate Dean started the game for the Raiders.
