Dean R. Ottoway, 61, of Fulton, died Sunday, April 1, 2012.
He was born in Syracuse and resided in Fulton for the past 10 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
He had worked in construction and did volunteer work for the D.A.V. and Meals on Wheels.
He enjoyed ceramics and his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandsons, Ryan and Mathew.
He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor H. Brosseau; a sister, Lynn Ottoway; his father, Floyd Ottoway; and by his son, Dustin Ottoway.
He is survived by a daughter, Dana Ottoway of Fulton; two grandsons, Ryan and Mathew Gustke of Fulton; a brother, Anthony (Cathe) Brosseau of Liverpool; and a nephew, Robert Konys of Minetto.
Calling hours and services were held Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
