According to Fulton boys varsity track and field Coach Dave Wilson, the goals that the team has for the season apply to both the athletes as individuals and as a team.
Wilson pointed out that his athletes can’t control the climate in which they compete in but they can control how they perform in terms of time, height and distance.
He hopes that each athlete can develop as the season progresses. For the team to succeed overall, it is imperative that players can establish and then re-establish personal bests in the events that they take part in, he said.
With only 29 athletes participating, Fulton is a comparatively smaller team. However, like previous seasons, the expectations they have for the season as a team remain the same.
