The Hannibal Varsity Baseball Team has lost four out of its last six games.
April 26, an eight-run sixth inning helped Chittenango come away with an impressive win over Hannibal.
It didn’t get any easier when The Warriors took on Solvay May 1. Solvay scored seven unanswered runs en route to the win.
May 2, a late game surge helped Vernon-Verona-Sherrill top Hannibal.
A decent start helped Fulton come away with a 6-2 win over the Warriors May 3.
Hannibal finally snapped its losing streak when they took on Clyde-Savannah May 6. The Warriors scored six runs during the game’s final innings to ensure the shutout.
Hannibal went on to earn its second shutout in as many games when they took on Skaneateles.
The Warriors scored three runs during the first three innings of the game to set the tone for an impressive win.
In the Solvay game, Hannibal was led by Chris Benedict, Billy Cook and Greg Hadcock, who all had a hit.
Matt Wagner chipped in an RBI for the Warriors.
