Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill June 26 adding 25 new family court judge seats across New York state in 2015. One of those seats is coming to Oswego County, which currently only has one family court judge. Continue reading
Navy Seaman Apprentice Ryan L. Cromie, son of Roxanne B. Hunt of Phoenix, recently reported for duty aboard the USS Dallas, homeported in Groton, Conn.
Cromie is a 2001 graduate of John C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix.

A Christmas in July event is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday July 13 at the Dugway United Methodist Church, Route 104, two miles east of the Interstate 81 exit in Mexico.
There will be carnival Christmas games, a drawing and auction with theme baskets, bake sale, cake wheel, craft sale, Christmas items, Christmas dinner from noon to 3 p.m. with ham, turkey and all the fixings.
There also will be a special visit from Santa.

Air Force Airman Alexander J. Fatcheric graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
