The Fulton YMCA Speed Demons welcomed Watertown and Oneida to the Granby Elementary pool in January. Graduating Speed Demon swimmers Jake Strauss and Anna Guernsey were recognized at the Watertown meet. Guernsey has been with the team for 14 years and enjoyed swimming butterfly the most. At the Section 3 Tournament Feb. 15, James Bailey, senior captain of the Fulton Red Raiders wrestling team at Bodley High School, was the recipient of the Central New York Wrestling Officials scholarship. Next year he plans to major in communications at St. John Fisher College in Rochester.
