Actors from three local theater companies join together for the upcoming production of “Romeo and Juliet” at the CNY Arts Center.

The production opens Aug. 15 and runs through Aug. 24 at the center’s location at 357 State St. and Park Street in Fulton. Continue reading

New Horizons Band, Chorus to perform Aug. 8

The Oswego County New Horizons Band will participate in a concert with the New Horizons Chorus at the Minetto United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8. The band has about 42 members. Most are from Oswego County but some travel from Cayuga and Onondaga counties.

17th Annual St. Luke-Francis Boyce Charity Tournament to be held Aug. 9

The House Works is the sponsor a $20,000 hole-in-one contest taking place during the golf tourney on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Battle Island Golf Course in Fulton. Cost for the tournament is $320 per four-person team. The field is limited to the first 25 teams that register.
