SOS Fest continues Saturday, Sunday

The SOS (Save Our Students) FEST continues today and tomorrow in Hannibal.

The festival began Friday July 18 and continues July 19 and 20 at Firemen’s Field, Rochester Street.

This is a large three-day Christian music festival with more than 15 bands.

There also will be some powerful speakers and more than two dozen display booths. There also will be free waterslides, and workshops on Saturday morning and afternoon. A kids carnival will be available during the workshops so parents can attend the workshops while the kids are busy.

Here is the schedule:

Saturday starts with worship at 10 a.m. with Kris Mays and band.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Kids’ carnival.

Music starts at 3 p.m. with “Second Story”

3:30 p.m. – The Sent Forth

4 p.m. – Lights Of Day

5 p.m. – Against The Slate

6 p.m. – Riverside Confession

7 p.m. – The Life Band with speaker Jonnie Nickles

8:15 p.m. – David Hayner

8:45 p.m. – BLUETREE from Belfast Ireland. They had the #1 worship song in the world in 2009 with the song “God Of This City”

On Sunday at 10 a.m., there will be worship and music with the New Life Band from Herkimer with Hannibal’s Adam Svereika on drums.

10:45 a.m. — Aaron Boyd from Bluetree will give the message

11:15 a.m. — Worship jam with all remaining musicians.
