Milton “Pudge” Hartle, veteran, contractor, loved hunting and fishing


Milton “Pudge” Hartle, 77, of Oswego, formerly of Fulton, passed away suddenly Monday, July 14 at Oswego Hospital.

He worked as a self-employed contractor for many years and served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1957 and was on the Navy boxing team.

Pudge enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Steven (Tiffany) Hartle, Donald (Sharon Miller) Hartle, Patricia (Stan) Johnson, Shelly Hewitt, April Hartle; siblings, Francis “Butch” Hall, Clinton Hall, Calvin Hall, Marlene Snow and Donald Lanning; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton with services immediately following.

Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Volney.
