Anne L. Bodwitch, worked at American Woolen, county Social Services

Anne L. Bodwitch, 95, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 9 at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center, Syracuse.

Mrs. Bodwitch was born in Oswego, NY to the late Albert and Stella (Skrowron) Segal (Szczyciel).  She had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.

Mrs. Bodwitch was employed in local industry including the American Woolen Co. She was licensed to be an agent for insurance and real estate.

She later retired after working as a caseworker with Oswego County Department of Social Services, Mexico, NY.

She is survived by her children, Michele (Chris) Hallet of FL, Robert (Connie) Bodwitch of MA, and Bill Bodwitch of Skaneateles; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; caregiver Trish Golden; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bodwitch was pre-deceased by her siblings, Leo, Matt, John, Albert Jr., Joseph, Stanley and Paul Segal and Victoria Godden and Mary Kalfass.

Funeral services will be held in St. Stephen’s Church, Oswego, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the convenience of the family followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.

There will be no calling hours.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
