Residents from Michaud Residential Health Services, Bishop’s Commons and St. Luke Health Services made the trip to this year’s Oswego County Fair in Sandy Creek and came away with a number of blue ribbons.
The ribbons and other awards were for entries they submitted in “juried” categories ranging from baked goods, to handmade decorative items, watercolor paintings and even floral arrangements.
All together residents submitted nearly two dozen entries, and have almost that many award ribbons to prove it!
While at the fair, folks toured the exhibits, and took in the sights and sounds at this annual summertime event.
The trip to the County Fair is just one of the many outings enjoyed by St. Luke Family of Caring residents. A full calendar of outings to concerts and other local events and favorite destinations, as well as plenty of “in-house” activities like picnics and entertainment will keep everyone busy and engaged in the warm summer months ahead for residents’ at all four healthcare affiliate locations in Oswego County.
