From Oswego County Drug Task Force:
After a lengthy investigation conducted by the Oswego County Drug Task Force and the Fulton Police Department, Jason Wayne Knopp (also known as John Slaughta), was arrested on a sealed indictment warrant issued by Oswego County Court.
The indictment charges Knopp with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance third degree, a felony. Knopp is charged with selling cocaine in Fulton on three separate dates during the month of May 2014.
Knopp was arraigned on the indictment in Oswego County Court, bail was set at $20,000 cash bail or $30,000 secure bail bond.
On the day of his arrest, Knopp also was charged in Fulton City Court with the additional crimes of criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth degree, both felonies, and criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
He is charged with possessing 18 grams of cocaine and plastic bags used to package cocaine, as well as $1,300 in cash, at the time he was arrested on the warrant. He was arraigned in Fulton City Court on these new charges, and bail was set at $20,000 cash or $30,000 secure bail bond.
Knopp is also charged by another indictment filed in Oswego County Court with the crime of criminal possession of marijuana second degree, a felony, based upon a prior arrest in the city of Oswego Police Department.
That indictment was pending at the time that the alleged sales of cocaine occurred.

From Oswego County Sheriff’s Office:
A Liverpool man died Thursday night in a motorcycle accident on County Route 12 in Hastings, sheriff’s deputies said.
Anthony J. Gorgoni, 46, was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson in a southwesterly direction at about 8:45 p.m. when the motorcycle left the north side of the road, hitting a marker post and earth embankment.
Gorgoni was taken to Upstate University Hospital by SOVAC Ambulance and was pronounced dead.
Members of Central Square Police Department and Central Square Fire Department assisted at the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Justin T. Jacobs, 26, of Nunda, and Brittany L. Pickel, 21, of County Route 4, Oswego, were charged with burglary and conspiracy, both felonies, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, in connection with his participation in the break-in of a town of Oswego resident in March and the theft of jewelry and cash.
Jacobs and Pickel were arraigned in Oswego Town Court and will return to court July 7.
Robert L. Gage, 46, of County Route 85, Oswego, was charged with criminal mischief third degree, a felony, following a domestic dispute in the town of Hannibal during which he allegedly threw the victim’s cell phone causing it to shatter. Gage was arraigned in Hannibal Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He will return to court July 15.
Christopher S. Hurlbut, 44, of Box Street, Pulaski, was charged with burglary and grand larceny, both felonies, in connection with a break-in of a barn in May 2014 and the theft of household items. He was arraigned in Sandy Creek Town Court and will return to Richland Town Court July 14.
