Ashley Lynn Wines of Mexico is supplying wine for the wine and cheese celebration for the first birthday of the Arts in the HeART Gallery in Fulton.
CNY Arts Center is celebrating the gallery’s first birthday with a party, open to the public, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday June 26.
The event will include drawings, food and a silent auction of Doug Jones autographed headshots and signed T-shirt. An extra-large “Summer Fun” themed gift basket donated by Adecco Employment Services will be awarded to a lucky winner. Treat Me Sweet will provide a specially decorated birthday cake.
The gallery is located at 47 S. First St in Fulton, across from the gazebo.
Established in 1928, on 130 acres of rolling farmland in New York, Hurlbut Orchards has been a top producer of Mcintosh and Cortland apples. A family-run farm, Leroy, Pat and sons Leon and Craig have dedicated their lives to producing top quality New York state apples.
With an abundance of fruit and a history of making apple wine for family and friends dating back 40 years, the Hurlbut family is now putting its efforts into the retail wine business.
Concentrating on 11 blended varieties of apple wines, the family has developed a product that is reasonably priced with outstanding taste.
“We are delighted to have Hurlbut Orchards provide this wonderful apple wine for our celebration,” said Bonnie McClellan, gallery coordinator.
“Central New York is known for its delicious varieties of apples and what better way to enjoy them with our birthday party than in a delectable wine from Ashley Lynn Wines,” she said.
The birthday party wraps-up a month long slate of activities including classes, art demonstrations, knit-ins and Arts Fest. For more information, visit www.CNYArtsCenter.com or call 598-2787.
