Free art demonstrations will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. every Thursday at Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., Oswego.
The event will occur during the Farmers’ Market in Oswego.
Ron Nix will demonstrate the art of fly tying June 19. Nix, an avid fisherman, will share his knowledge and proficiency with tying various fly patterns.
Kathy Fenlon will demonstrate how she selects and combines fabrics for her bright and colorful handbags and purses June 26.
Also every Thursday during the month of June, Lakeside Artisans will have a drawing for an Oswego Lighthouse T-shirt and a Lakeside Artisans’ mug as part of its third anniversary celebration. Just stop by the store during the Farmers’ Market and fill out a ticket to enter. No purchase necessary.
The drawing will take place at 7 p.m. each Thursday.
Lakeside Artisans is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday till 8 p.m, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
