‘Gypsy’ contest benefits the Oswego Players

Oswego Players’ actress/producer Tammy Wilkinson, director Inez Manor Parker and Michael Cali of Cali’s Carriage House Florist are together to announce the GYPSY contest which is underway now through June 29.

The Oswego Players have joined forces with Cali’s Carriage House Florist to present a contest inspired by the up-coming Oswego Players Production of the musical “Gypsy.” 

Now through June 29, stop by Cali’s Carriage House Florist, located at 116 W. Bridge St., Oswego, to participate in the contest.

With any monetary donation, you will get the chance to pick a rose to see if you’ve won a prize. There are three prizes available and you can continue to try your luck – one person – per day – with donation. 

Three lucky winners will get two show tickets each. Two will win a day of flower arranging at Cali’s Carriage House Florist, and one lucky grand-prize winner will get two tickets to the show, a day of flower arranging and will ride (in full costume) on the Oswego Players Gypsy Float at the Oswego Independence Day Parade. 

All donations received will benefit The Oswego Players, Inc.

The show opens at 8 p.m. Friday July 4 at the Frances Marion Brown Theatre, located in The Oswego Arts Center at Fort Ontario Park. 

The show continues its run on Saturday, July 5, Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 at 8 p.m. There will also be a special Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. July 13.

All tickets are $15.
