Atlanta Rhythm Section, Brass Inc. to perform at Harborfest

C&S Companies in Syracuse is sponsoring Thursday night’s musical entertainment at Harborfest.

“C&S is proud to do business in and support the great community of Oswego. We’re excited to be involved in Harborfest, which showcases the tremendous assets of the area and brings people together,” said John Trimble, president of C&S Companies.

C&S Companies is known nationwide for providing many client-focused services such as architecture, engineering, and environmental services, to name a few.  The company values its customers and local communities.

Dr. Gregory T. DeCinque, president of Cayuga Community College, also said CCC is a co-sponsor of Harborfest’s Thursday night entertainment.

CCC’s main campus is in Auburn and its second campus is in Fulton. Its mission is to provide academic and financial accessibility to students so as to aid in individual career preparation and local community development.

The band line-up for Thursday, July 24. includes Brass, Inc. at 7 p.m. and Atlanta Rhythm Section 9:15 p.m.

Brass, Inc. is an exciting, high-energy, nine-piece horn band. The diverse playing styles and musical backgrounds of the members enable them to entertain with the hottest hits from some of the best bands.

As a party band from Syracuse, they perform horn-driven rock, classic rock, southern rock, rhythm and blues, funk and pop. The band will keep you singing and dancing from start to finish.

Atlanta Rhythm Section has been part of the Southern Rock scene for more than 30 years. Their biggest hits include So Into You, Champagne Jam, Imaginary Lover and Spooky.

With 15 albums of exceptional songwriting and performances, The Atlanta Rhythm Section represents all the good things the phrase “classic rock” implies. The Atlanta Rhythm Section, or ARS are considered by many to be a major player in the Southern Rock scene.
