The Fulton girls’ varsity lacrosse team ended its season 1-4 to finish with a 5-11 record.
On May 6, Jamesville-DeWitt rolled past Fulton 20-6. Auburn knocked off the Lady Raiders 16-6 on May 9. On May 12, Fulton topped New Hartford 13-10.
Christian Brothers Academy knocked off the Lady Raiders 16-3 in the first game of a tournament held May 14. Fulton also lost Game 2 10-8 to county rival Oswego.
J-D wasted little time putting the game out of reach. They built a 15-6 lead over Fulton during the first half and then scored another five unanswered goals down the stretch to cap off a 20-6 win.
Leading the way for the Lady Raiders were Gina Babcock, McKenna Chesbro, Amelia Coakley, Olivia Coakley, Jordan Coulon and Casey Shannon with a goal each. Goalie Kaylin Pafumi saved six of 26 shots.
Against Auburn, the Maroons jumped out to an early 10-3 lead in the first half and then added three more goals during the second half to come away with a 16-6 win.
The Lady Raiders were led by Jordan Coulon with two goals and an assist, followed by Amelia Coakley with two goals, McKenna Chesbro and Keara Patterson with a goal each and Julia Ludington with an assist. Goalie Kaylin Pafumi saved five of 21 shots.
Following a hard fought first half with New Hartford, the game was tied at 7. Fulton stormed ahead during the second half, outscoring the Spartans 6-3 down the stretch to cap off a 13-10 win.

CBA started well in the first game of the May 14 tournament, building a 10-1 lead over Fulton during the first half. CBA expanded its lead down the stretch, outscoring Fulton by four goals during the second half to cruise to a 16-3 win.
The Lady Raiders were led by Amelia Coakley with three goals. Goalie Kaylin Pafumi saved 10 of 26 shots.
County rival Oswego barely beat fulton 10-8 in Game 2 of the tournament.
Leading the way for Oswego was Mariah Metcalf with four goals, followed by Erica Atkins with three goals and Brooke Broadwell, Hannah Broadwell and Kara Collins with a goal each.
Sydney Knight and Taylor Montgomery were each credited with an assist. Oswego Goalie Kerrigan Cummins saved five of 13 shots.
Fulton was led by McKenna Chesbro with three goals and two assists, followed by Julia Ludington with three goals and Casey Shannon and Amelia Coakley with a goal each. Goalie Kaylin Pafumi saved four of 14 shots.
