Valley Viewpoints: Friends of History say thanks

‘Friends’ thank you

This is a thank you to all the people of the Fulton Community for the support they give the Friends of History at Pratt House here in Fulton.

We appreciate the many ways you come out to support us. Recently we held our chicken barbecue and ,despite the cold rainy, weather we had a good turn out. Through participating in our fun raisers, you help us make a difference in this community.

With your help we are able to provide free informational programs and interactive displays at the Pratt House. Each winter we hold a Parade of Trees that is a chance for the community to participate in a seasonal fun activity.

For the past two years we have been able to award a scholarship to a graduating senior. All of this thanks to your generosity.

On June 6, we will be once again be hosting our Porch Party from 5:30 to 7:30.  For a nominal fee you can enjoy entertainment and refreshments.

Pratt House Museum is free to all. We are open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Come enjoy the past history of our Fulton Area. From now till December we will be featuring antique toys.

The Pratt House is located at 177 S. First St., Fulton.
