Today is the second day of our NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) Major Organization Festival.
Good luck to our music groups who are performing some of their most challenging pieces in front of judges today. Make us proud.
Don’t forget to check out the Memorial Day Parade this Saturday at 10 a.m., as well as the following carnival. You will see many GRB students walking in the parade, on floats and volunteering in booths afterwards.
School will not be in session on May 26; Memorial Day. Enjoy your three-day weekend! Please remember to be safe and responsible.
Make sure to see Coach Rothrock to sign up for Battle of the Athletes if you participated in a JV or varsity sport this year. Much like a “game day,” student athletes are assigned a team and a coach. Each student has varying abilities and participates in many different sports.
Once assigned a team, students will compete against other teams in events such as the relay run, tug-of-war and a tire roll. The Battle of the Athletes event is always a ton of fun and many memories are made.
If you still need convincing, sign-up is only $1 and you receive a free T-shirt!
If you plan on participating in Driver’s Ed this summer, stop by the guidance office for an informational packet.
Good luck to all of our sports teams competing in sectionals!
