Church group donates books to Child Advocacy Center

Members of the Cherish All Children ministry at Prince of Peace Church recently held a book shower for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County in conjunction with Usborne Books and More, an educational children’s book company. Prince of Peace Church members were able to “shower” a total of $1,050 in books for the children who visit the Child Advocacy Center, by combining direct donations and purchases with a matching grant provided through Usborne. Pictured with the books are: Prince of Peace Church member Alexandra Sorbello (seated); standing in back are Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center; Brittney Jerred, Usborne Books and More representative; and Prince of Peace Church member Margaret Nichols.
