2 injured in trolley bus vs. pedestrian accident

Two people were injured Friday night in a motor vehicle-pedestrian accident at West Bridge Street and West Seneca Street in Oswego.

The Oswego Police Department said when they arrived at the scene, a 22-year-old male from Suffern and a 21-year-old female from Fairport, Monroe County, were found to have been struck by a trolley bus. The male was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital for possible internal injuries and is listed in good condition.
The woman was treated for minor leg injuries and released.

The investigation is ongoing and as of this release no charges have been filed.  Oswego Police were assisted by the Oswego Fire Department and the U.S. Border Patrol.
