As of 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, a travel advisory has been issued for the city of Oswego.
Mayor Thomas Gillen said the advisory is issued due to the heavy snow accumulation and white-out conditions.
The advisory means there should be no unnecessary travel on city streets. There also is no parking on city streets between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists are asked not to park on city streets, during non-parking ban hours, to assist Department of Public Works crews in snow removal.
The travel advisory is in effect until further notice, Gillen said.
