A child safety seat installation check is set for 9 a.m. to noon March 17 at the Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department.
The department is partnering with the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, Oswego County Traffic Safety Board and WIC to provide assistance for families in need of help with installing their child’s car seat in the safest and best way.
New York state law requires that children be in the appropriate child restraint until age 8.
Trained and nationally certified child passenger technicians will be on hand to teach parents and caregivers on choosing and installing the correct seat for their child’s age, weight, height, and development.
No appointment is necessary. For more information, or to host a child passenger safety seat check, call Billie Crandall Brady, Coordinator at 343-2344 ext. 22.
