Fulton PeeWees wins 2 games in one day

The Fulton PeeWees hockey team won two games on a recently double-game day.

First, the team beat the Whitestown Wolfpack 13-3 and then later the same day, beat Elmira 6-2.

sponsored by Cargill, Inc., Foster Funeral Home and Pathfinder Bank recently traveled to Whitesboro to compete against the Whitestown Wolfpack.

In the first game in Whitesboro, Oneida County, the action started quickly with Fulton’s Madison Lewis #10 putting the teams first goal to the back of the net assisted by Jadon Lee #00 and Derek Carter #15.

Eric Shear #35 grabbed the second goal with the assistance of Chayton Sykes #71 and Calexander Connolly #88.

In the second period, the Raiders came out blazing. Two goals were netted by Derek Carter, one unassisted, the other assisted by Eric Shear #35 and Jarred Willis, Jr. #2.

The second period also saw two more goals for Eric Shear #35 with the assistance of Chayton Sykes #71 and Jonathan McCann #86. Jadon Lee #00 piled one to the back of the net that was assisted by Derek Carter #15 and Chayton Sykes #71 putting Fulton in the lead.

In the the third period, Fulton continued the scoring frenzy with goals from Lane Phillips #32, Andrew Hyde #48, Madison Lewis #10, Derek Carter #15 with a hat-trick, and two more goals for a personal game total of 5 for Eric Shear #35 assisted by Madison Lewis #10, Jadon Lee #00 and Calexander Connolly #88.

Fulton’s goalie Nathaniel Lindsey #20 saved 21 shots on goal.

The hockey action continued as the Raiders traveled back home for an afternoon game against Elmira.

The first period of play quickly netted  2 goals for Fulton, one by Chayton Sykes #71, unassisted and the other by Madison Lewis #10 assisted by #35 Eric Shear.

In the second period, Eric Shear #35 netted the third goal for Fulton assisted by Jonathan McCann #86.

In the third period, Fulton garnered 3 more goals for the win. The first goal from Eric Shear, assisted by Kaleb Calkins #87. The second goal of the period by Derek Carter #15 that was assisted by Jadon Lee #00. The third and final goal of the period was by Jadon Lee #00 assisted by Eric Shear #35.

Fulton’s goalie Nathaniel Lindsey saved 22 shots on goal.
