Janette L. Hubbard, potato farmer

Janette  L. Hubbard, 58, of Granby passed away Wednesday Nov. 27, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.

Born in Syracuse to her late mother, Beverly (Landers) Cramer and her surviving father, Cyril Cramer on Feb. 15, 1955.

She was a graduate of the J. C. Birdlebough High School class of 1973 in the Phoenix Central Schools, Phoenix.

Janette was a potato farmer. She and her husband Tom, raised potatoes on their many acres of land and for many years at their farm in Granby.

Janette enjoyed gardening and country life with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Heath G. Hubbard, 1977.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Thomas G. Hubbard; her son, Colton Hubbard; her daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Jerry Boothe; her father, Cyril Cramer; two grandchildren, Isabelle Boothe and Madeline Boothe; several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins.

A calling hour will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday Dec. 4 (today) followed by a 12:01 p.m. service with the Rev. Terrence E. Millbyer officiating, at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
