Charles E. Harris, owned and operated Harris Drywell in Oswego

Charles E. Harris, 88, of Seneca Hill, Oswego, died the morning of Friday Nov. 29 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

Mr. Harris was born in Fulton the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Wells) Harris.

Mr. Harris owned and operated Harris Drywell in Oswego for many years until his retirement in 1997. He was predeceased by his daughter Suzanne Monroe in 1998, his brother Ward Harris, and his sister Evelyn Woodard.

He is survived by his wife Madalyn A. Harris of Seneca Hill, Oswego; his daughter Roxanne Falise of Colorado; son-in-law Phil Falise of Colorado; sisters Madalon Howland of Oswego and Charlotte Porter of Fulton; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A celebration of Mr. Harris’s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday Dec. 7 at Mimi’s in Fulton.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
