Diane Mills, loved writing poetry

Diane S. Mills, 51; of Fulton died at home after a long illness.

She was born in Fulton and has been resident of Fulton for 20 years.  Mrs. Mills enjoyed writing poetry, and working on latch hook. She also loved making puzzles and playing video games.

Mrs. Mills was pre-deceased by her father, Theodore Lamie.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years,  Alanson “Lance” Mills of Fulton; three children, Elissa Marietti of FL., Elizabeth Mills of Fulton and Eliott Mills of Fulton; her mother, Marion Lamie of Cicero; four siblings,  Jacklyn (Scott) Brown of Cicero, NY, Jan (Mike) Connor of FL., James Lamie of PA, and David (Caroline) Lamie of Fulton; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday (today) at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton with Rev. David Nethercott officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours were Tuesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton.

The family has requested that contributions may be made to the Upstate ALS Research Fund 750 E. Adams St. CAB-326 Syracuse, NY 13210.
