Penny Anne Schneider, worked for The Valley News

Penny Anne Schneider, 61, of Fulton Mills Apartments, Fulton, passed away at University Hospital, Syracuse, on Friday Oct. 18, 2013.

Born in New York City to her late parents, Janet (Rosekrans) and Bernard Fleisch on May 13, 1952. She was a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business School, Syracuse.

Penny was the former owner/operator of the Fulton Cab Co. She also had worked for the Oswego Valley News Co., also located in Fulton.

Penny was of the Catholic faith and very involved in the Bible study group at the Fulton Mills Tenant’s Association.

She was the former treasurer of the FMTA, and an active participant with the various functions of the FMTA.

Penny was an author and recently was a contributing writer for a project sponsored by the Fulton Public Library.  Her works will be published soon.

Surviving are one brother, Richard Fleisch; one sister, Judy Baldwin; a cousin, David G. Tibbitts of Baldwinsville; threeclose friends, Gail Lawrence, Marjorie Foil, and Diane Wallace all of Fulton.

There are no services planned at this time. Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, has charge of arrangements.
