Bluegrass gospel on calendar
The Greer Family of Lindley Creek will be performing at Hannibal United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Sept. 1. Their specialty is bluegrass gospel music. Call Bob Simmons for more info at 564-5412.
Dining center open at noon
Hannibal Senior Dining Center will be meeting at noon for dinner at the Senior Center (Library Building). Come early for coffee and news or to work on the jigsaw puzzle or play games.

Sept. 4: Roast pork with gravy, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts and carrots, juice, ice cream
Sept. 6: Cook’s choice meal, juice, cook’s choice dessert
Activities: Sept. 4: bingo after lunch; Sept. 6: 11 to noon, Eyeglasses workshop, cleaning and adjustment
The center will be closed Sept. 2 in honor of Labor Day.
It’s not too soon to reserve your spot for our upcoming “Old-Fashioned” Candlelight Dinner, to be held 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Fire Department Hall.
