Council paves way for Pathfinder revamp

The Fulton city council Tuesday approved the privatization of the Fulton Housing Authority, a step that will allow the rehabilitation of Pathfinder Courts.

Before approving the change, the council sought reassurance that rents, which will increase because of the improvements, will remain affordable for residents.

The change will transfer management of the townhouses and senior citizen housing to a nonprofit.
