Jack Beckwith Jr. has announced his candidacy for Hannibal Town Justice. Beckwith stated that he is running to “bring dedication and integrity to the town justice court.”
Beckwith has a criminal justice AAS degree from Cayuga Community College, where he focused a great deal of his studies on the state penal law. He also is well versed in U.S. Supreme Court case law.
Beckwith brings a background in community activism. He is a member of the Oswego County Youth Court Advisory Board, the Sterling Trail Tamers Snowmobile Club, the Hannibal Community Park Committee and various other organizations.
Beckwith currently serves as councilor in the town of Hannibal. He regularly meets with personnel of the justice court and is actively looking to better courtroom security and policy. Beckwith is educated in the budgetary aspects of the justice court.
Beckwith is running under the Republican, Conservative and Dedicated to Justice parties.
