Anna M. Whaley, 92, of Fulton, passed away July 28 at Oswego Hospital.
Anna lived in Fulton since 2001, and had previously lived in Richland and Syracuse.
She was born March 1, 1921, in Richland. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1940. Anna was employed by Prestolite in Syracuse for 34 years, retiring in 1980.
She was an avid bowler, and she bowled in several leagues in Syracuse. Anna also appeared on the television show “Bowling for Dollars.”
Surviving are one son, Lawrence Whaley of Fulton, four grandchildren, Lorie E. Guernesy of Mexico, Terri Ackerman of Carmi, Ill., James Whaley of Fulton, and Christopher Whaley of Baldwinsville, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Aug. 2 at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours were prior to the funeral.
