The Fulton Community Theatre’s latest production in its Evening on Broadway series, “The Golden Age of Broadway: The Music of Porter, Kern, Gershwin, Cohan, Berlin and Rodgers & Hart” returns this weekend with performances scheduled for today and tomorrow in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton.
According to Director Kathy DeGolyer, the show opened last weekend to enthusiastic audiences.
“Those in attendance told us how much they appreciated and enjoyed the show,” she said. “Many of them were singing along as our cast performed some great songs from the golden age of Broadway.”
The Futon Community Theatre’s “The Golden Age of Broadway: The Music of Porter, Kern, Gershwin, Cohan, Berlin and Rodgers & Hart” will continues with encore performances today, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow, June 30 at 2 p.m.
As the show also serves as a fund-raiser for the food pantry at Catholic Charities, those attending are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items.
There will also be a drawing for a dinner and movie package with all proceeds benefiting the pantry.
All performances will be held in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish.
Ticket reservations, which are strongly suggested, can be made by calling DeGolyer at 598-7840.
