CNY Arts Center offers an exciting spring line-up of classes for all arts and all ages starting April 6 with Kids Onscreen from 2 to 4 p.m. for kids ages 6 and up; oil painting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and ink drawing from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and Introduction to Writing from 1 to 4 p.m.

A Critique Workshop for Writers will take place on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month starting April 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. and the next Writer’s Café, April 14 at 6:30 pm will spotlight the work of Art Tirrell and his book “The Wind from Entouhonoron,” an adventure set on Lake Ontario during the War of 1812. Writer’s Café is open to the public.

“The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” the center’s first all-youth production produced by Kids Onstage, will run for two performances only: April 12 at 7 p.m. and April 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets and reservations are available online at www.CNYArtsCenter.com or by calling 592-3373.
“Helen Keller” follows two weeks later April 26-28 and May 3-5.
Artists are being sought for the new Art Gallery opening in downtown Fulton early May. Art work from drawings, ink work, mixed media, paintings, photography, charcoal, glass, pastels, wood, fabric, stained glass or sculpture will be featured in the galley and artists are encouraged to reserve exhibit space.
The gallery will be open for downtown shopping and browsing most evenings and weekends including Saturday mornings during Farmer’s Market.
