Frank Libera, Fulton barber
Frank W. Libera, 82, an U.S. Army veteran, died in his sleep Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home.
He was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, the American Legion and the Fulton Polish Home.
He worked his entire life as a barber in his hometown of Fulton and was a charter member at Beaver Meadows Country Club in Phoenix, where he demonstrated his love for golf by winning a number of club tournaments and scoring a hole in one on two occasions.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette A. Libera; children, Gail (Anthony) Romano of Pittsford and William (Elizabeth) Libera of Canandaigua; and grandchildren Matthew (Rebecca) Libera of Greensboro, N.C. and Christopher Libera of Rochester.
Services will be held privately at the family’s request.
