G. Ray Bodley High School was host to a Section III Class playoff basketball game when the Fulton girls varsity basketball team hosted New Hartford Feb. 15.
Those in attendance saw a game that was back and forth throughout. However, in the end, Fulton came through down the stretch to come away with a 35-32 win.
New Hartford (7-12) came into the game as the ninth seed while the Lady Raiders were the eighth seed. By the end of a competitive first quarter, Fulton had built a three-point lead over New Hartford.
The second quarter was even more competitive. New Hartford outscored the Lady Raiders by a point to bring Fulton’s lead down to two points at 13-11 going into halftime.
New Hartford evened the score during the third quarter. They outscored the Lady Raiders by two points to tie the game at 19-19 by the end of the quarter.
